How we handle your application
This site exists for one thing: to take job applications for the CPR Cell Phone Repair stores in West Chester PA, Pottstown PA, and Newark DE. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anybody else.
What you type into the form — your name, phone number, email address, the city and state you live in, the store and role you chose, your answers about experience, anything you write in the last box, and your resume if you attach one — is sent to the hiring team at the store you picked and stored in our own applicant tracking system. It is used to decide whether to interview you and for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside these stores.
We also record the time you applied, the internet address the application came from and the browser you used, which is how we tell a real application from an automated one.
If we turn your application down, or you withdraw it, we keep it for 12 months after that and then anonymize it: your name, contact details, resume, our notes about you, anything a background check turned up and anything an interviewer wrote down are deleted, and only a de-identified record that an application happened remains. While an application is still open with us we keep it as it is, because we are still considering it — if you would rather we closed it and deleted it sooner, ask us using the contact details at the end of this page and we will. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employment record and is kept for as long as the law requires.
We never ask about salary history.
